CU Denver Online Exhibition.
about.
This project was created as a school project for a digital exhibition space to showcase the work of CU Denver students and alumni. The goal was to highlight the diversity, creativity, and individuality within the university’s art community through a thoughtfully designed online platform. I focused on creating a clean, accessible layout that allowed each artist’s work and story to stand out, while also considering how users would explore the site and engage with the exhibition as a whole.

project proposal.
The Digital Design program and the wider College of Arts and Media currently suffer from a critical lack of a centralized, cohesive digital presence to showcase student and alumni work. This absence severely limits the program's ability to gain public visibility, effectively attract prospective students, and build vital connections between current students, alumni, and industry professionals.
This lack of visibility translates to missed opportunities to promote exceptional talent and enhance the college's reputation in the highly competitive arts and design landscape. Establishing a professional, central digital platform is essential not only for professional networking and recruitment, but also because exhibits provide "authentic learning experiences" for students and make it "easier and less time consuming to assess digital portfolios" for faculty.
result.
The final design resulted in a centralized, visually cohesive digital platform that showcases student and alumni work in a way that feels professional, curated, and easy to navigate. The design emphasizes clarity, strong visual hierarchy, and accessibility so that a range of audiences—including prospective students, faculty, alumni, and industry professionals—can easily explore featured work and understand the strength of the program.
Through the use of a clean layout, consistent branding, and portfolio-focused presentation, the design elevates individual projects while also creating a unified identity for the Digital Design program and the College of Arts and Media. The platform transforms scattered or less visible student work into a polished digital exhibition, making the work feel more credible, engaging, and public-facing. Overall, the design result is not just a website, but a professional digital showcase that strengthens recognition of the program and better represents the creativity and talent within the college.
