Pause Intentionally is a brand ecosystem built to challenge burnout culture. What started as a six-screen app prototype grew into a connected system, an AI-powered wellness app, a reflection journal, and physical touchpoints; all designed to help people slow down, reconnect with their attention, and move through their day with more intention. Designed to help you slow down, so you can move forward with clarity.

Most productivity tools are designed to maximize output, not support intentional rest.
Burnout culture has become deeply normalized, especially in Western society, where constant productivity is valued over rest and wellbeing.
People are pushed to keep going even when mentally exhausted, overstimulated, and disconnected from their own needs.
Research shows roughly 59% of employees report experiencing negative impacts from work-related stress.
This creates an opportunity to design tools that support productivity while encouraging intentional pauses, reflection, and more sustainable ways of working.

The final solution is a break-planning app that adapts to each person's day. It recommends breaks based on routine, workload, and stress levels while leaving users in full control of when and how they rest. Users can snooze a break or rate how well it worked, so suggestions improve over time, and daily, weekly, and monthly recaps show how breaks are shaping their focus, productivity, and wellbeing.
The experience also extends beyond the screen. A reflection journal offers open-ended prompts along with short notes on the research behind each break, and physical touchpoints like sleep masks and campaign moments make intentional rest something people can hold and experience.
